I’ve been using the Sunshine Bath & Body oil instead of a heavy night cream and I love the results. I suffer from migraines but the 100% essential oil blend is soothing and natural and never causes headaches like fragrance based products have.

^ TopHistory & Origins of Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil comes from the beans of this shrub-like plant found in the arid deserts of the American SouthwestIn 1822 a botanist discovered a small shrub in the desert area near Baja California. But it wasn’t until after the U.S. banned whale hunting in the 1970’s that this plant, Jojoba (pronounced ho-ho-ba) was cultivated to replace the use of whale oil in skincare products. Of course the Native American Indians had already been using this oil for natural skin care for hundreds of years.

Today Jojoba oil comes from the beans of this shrub-like plant found in the arid deserts of the American Southwest -- throughout the Baja peninsula south of California, the Southern half of Arizona, The California Desert -- and in parts of the Western half of Mexico's mainland as well as Australia, South America and Israel.

Jojoba is the plant oil that is most similar to our skin’s own sebum -- the natural moisturizing oils secreted by our skin.  This makes Jojoba a wonderful all-purpose natural body care lubricant that helps to prevent skin and hair from drying out. It has excellent absorption properties, is rich in Vitamin E that nourishes the skin, has good anti-inflammatory properties and is great for all skin types.
